Charlotte Kruger is a South African facilitator
based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Currently making meeting magic
at Triodos, via Entelect.
No matter where or how you work, people need to come together (in-person or digitally) to solve problems, make decisions, and get things done.
Dealing with loud voices dominating, quieter ones disengaging, discussions getting side tracked, decisions getting kicked down the road or ending up with compromises that satisfy no one? The right facilitation changes outcomes, not just conversations, especially when paired with product expertise that keeps discussions grounded in real decisions. We can help!
Facilitation goes beyond basic meeting management.
Meetings don't have to suck or suck the life out of you. They can (and should) be a good use of your time, instead of side quests distracting you from your "real work". I'd like to challenge you to join me in discovering the magic of productive conversations.

My background
While completing my Bachelor in Computing, I realised I'm much more drawn to the people and collaboration aspect of Software Engineering, than the code. After graduation, I pivoted to Business Analysis. From there I grew into a Product Owner for mobile and web applications in the Insurance, Tax and Banking industries.
During my BA and PO roles I gained exposure to the wide array collaboration takes form. From exploration and discovery to decision making and planning, there's always some form of collaborative thinking or working involved that can benefit from the structure proper facilitation provides.
Facilitation is more than planning and preparing a sensible structure and approach to a session; it's keeping a finger on the pulse to ensure every voice is heard. Our strength is in our diversity.
About
When I'm not geeking out about liberating structures, shared understanding and deep democracy, you'll find me outside. Preferably running up and down mountains (or hills; beggars can't be choosers) or cycling some gravel with my husband and our Cockapoo Benjamin.
If I have to be inside, I delight in reading, painting and baking delicious treats.
